
Rev. Michael W. Cichon
Pastor
Father Michael is
a native Staten Islander born and raised on the north shore. He is a graduate of St. Adalbert Elementary School and Msgr.
Farrell High School. Father also graduated from Cathedral College in Douglaston before entering St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie,
Yonkers, New York. He was ordained a priest in 1985.
Father Michael's first assignment was as Parochial Vicar of St. Charles, Staten Island. His next assignment was as Parochial
Vicar of St. Patrick's Church, Yorktown, New York. In 1994, he returned to Staten Island as Parochial Vicar of St. Clare.
In 2001, Father Michael was named Pastor of St. Joseph - St. Thomas in Pleasant Plains. On July 1, 2007, Father Michael became
Pastor of the parish of Assumption - St. Paul. Father is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Crossroad Foundation.
His hobbies include reading and traveling. He also enjoys playing with his chocolate Lab Maggie .

Janet Kelly
Parish Manager
Janet has lived on Staten
Island since 1962. She is a graduate of the former St. Louis Academy Elementary and High School. She also attended CSI.
Janet is a nationally certified Youth Minister and is also a certified Catechist. Janet was a Youth Minister at St. Clare
Church on Staten Island for over 16 years. She was the Director of Development at St. Joseph - St. Thomas for five years
before coming to Assumption - St. Paul. In her spare time, Janet enjoys reading and crocheting. She is very happy to be a
part of this wonderful faith community.

Sister Jennifer Raimo, C.S.JB.
Religious Education Coordinator
Sr. Jennifer is a newly professed Sister with the Sisters of St. John the
Baptist. She is a graduate of West Chester University in Pennsylvania and George Mason School of Law in Virginia. Prior
to joining us at Assumption-St. Paul, she participated in various volunteer ministries, including a St. John Villa Academy
in Staten Island, Crossroads juvenile detention center in Brooklyn, St. Fortunata parish in Brooklyn, and Providence Rest
Nursing Home in the Bronx.
Before entering the convent, Sr. Jennifer worked in criminal justice and had an opportunity to learn Spanish as a second language.
She was very active in her home parish, participating in the young adult group, parish council, adult catechesis, two scripture
study groups, Eucharistic ministry, RCIA, and cooking/cleaning for many parish functions. Sr. Jennifer is very excited to
be joining our parish.

Ron D'Albero- Music Director
- Tech Consultant
Ron
always had a love for sacred music ever since he was a kid. At the age of 17, he volunteered playing at Holy Rosary Church
right across the street from his home. He was with them for 24 years. Later, he moved on to St. Paul's Church for a dozen
years. After a short stint with St. Joseph's, Rosebank, he returned here to our new parish.
As the parish's Technology
Consultant, he oversees the operation of our buildings' communication, electrical, computer, safety and energy concerns and
he is the designer of our Parish Website. Ron is an advocate of protecting our natural resources and has guest lectured
on this topic often. He is a graduate of St. Sylvester Elementary School, Msgr. Farrell High School and the City University
of New York where he was awarded an A.A.S. degree in electrical technology with honor.

Margaret Moschetto
LAMP Missionary
Margaret is a native
Staten Islander, former teacher and mother of twin sons. She has been a LAMP Missionary since 1999. LAMP is an acronym for
Lay Apostolic Ministries with the Poor. Our parish is Margaret's fourth that she has served at. She is a facilitator of support
groups for the bereaved and those who are separated or divorced. Margaret is the coordinator of the R.C.I.A. process.

Anthony Lee
Chinese Apostolate
Anthony and his wife are from Tawain.
He is a graduate of Seton Hall University and was a counsellor at the former St. Vincent Hospital (Richmond University Medical
Center) Psychiatry Department. Now retired, he conducts mission work with the Chinese people at Anna Erika Home and the Staten
Island Care Center. Over 100 people have been baptized in both homes. These homes are visited twice a week where prayer
groups with bible study is conducted. Anthony helps Fr. Michael with the Tuesday 6:30 pm Mass at Anna Erika.

Rev. Clement Kalu
Weekend Associate
Fr. Clement was born in
Nigeria in the West Coast of Africa. He is the third of his parent's five boys. He was ordained to the Catholic priesthood
on June 17, 1984 in his home country of Nigeria for the Catholic Diocese of Mater Dei, Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. He came
to the United States in 1993 on mission in the Catholic Diocese of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is now a chaplain at Richmond
University Medical Center.

Rev. Marcos Escobar
Weekend Associate
Fr Mark A. Escobar,
c.s., a Filipino-born priest, is a member of the Missionaries of Saint Charles, known as Scalabrinians. He was ordained a
priest in 1995 and is currently working at Saint Charles Mission Center on Staten Island, New York. With demonstrated commitment
to his priestly ministry, he works with the Hispanics especially on weekends.
